THE SACRIFICE OF CHRIST

(CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE)

This is a very sensitive topic that every Christian must understand in order to live aright.
“If the witch knew the true meaning of sacrifice, she might have interpreted the deep magic differently. That when a willing man who has committed no treachery is killed on a traitor’s stand, the stone table will crack and even death itself would turn backwards”
Let’s pause for a moment to ponder on that statement, what does it mean to us? Let us go back to the book of Isaiah 53:7 “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth”. The devil didn’t understand the depth of the Jesus’ sacrifice; all he was seeking was people whom he would draw to be his slaves and who would suffer with him in eternity and he wanted to do the same to Christ by offering him the world in exchange for Christ soul. If Jesus had traded his soul, all of us would be devil’s eternal slave.
There was a prophecy in Narnia that four people would come and save them from the wicked witch. Then the children whose names were Peter, Susan, Edmond, Lucy came into the city and then hope was birthed in Narnia again. When the four children stepped into Narnia, Edmond was swayed by the witch’s gestures of pleasure and he lost his way until he found out that she was wicked when he got into her palace and was taken captive by the queen. (Reminds me of the statement made by the woman with dementia in God’s Not Dead; sometimes the devil allows people to live a life free of trouble ‘cause he doesn’t want them turning to God. Your sin is like a jail cell, except it’s all nice and comfy and there doesn’t seem to be any need to leave, the door’s wide open ‘til one day, time runs out, and the cell door slam shut and suddenly it’s too late).
His siblings were with Aslan and peter was beckoning on Aslan to save him which he did but at a price, Aslan was to lay down his life (Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Jn 15:13) as sacrifice in place of Edmond; all peter had to do is keep Aslan’s family safe.
Relating it to Scriptures; we must first recognise that Aslan was representing Jesus Christ, the Witch represents the devil and the four children represented the Church (as an individual). Aslan laying down his life in place of Edmond (the world) is what Christ did in order to breakdown the wall for the gentiles to partake of the salvation of the Jews and that happened the moment he died. There was a crack from the foot of the cross at gethsemane all the way down to the holies of holies where the ark laid in the temple. The witch was happy to see Aslan killed but what she didn’t know was that it was God’s strategy created to pay our debt and at the point when Aslan was heading to the place of sacrifice, he carried out (Isaiah 53:7).
Peter’s (the Church’s) responsibility on taking care of Aslan’s family explains John 21:15-18 and Matt 28:19-20. There is one thing we need to understand which is; before Christ came to die for the world, he had people he called his own and it is no doubt that it was Israel in general. So when he was talking about feeding the lambs, tending the sheep, feeding the sheep; he meant the following; gather the babes in Christ, make them move in unity (Eph 4:3-6) and bring them in unity of the knowledge of Christ (Eph 4:12-15). But if Christians only builds the ones that are already saved alone then the work is incomplete, because those in church are gathered babes being brought into unity and the truth is it is a continuous process. We do John 21:15-18 first only then can we do Matt 28:19-20 continuously till Christ returns.
With the story explained in this way, permit me to rephrase Aslan’s words this way
“If the devil knew the true meaning of sacrifice, he might have interpreted the mystery of salvation differently. That when a willing man who has committed no treachery is killed on a traitor’s stand, the stone table will crack and even death itself would turn backwards”
The mystery of salvation is a mystery Christ has unveiled to every Christian because it is concealed to even the devil himself (1 Cor 2:9-10).

Eternity in View: God’s Mercy Is Not Eternal

Yes, God’s Mercy Is Not Eternal, it expires the moment the trumpet sounds announcing the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ so don’t think you can keep sinning today and then tomorrow is certain for you to repent; No! His mercy is not eternal; it was never made to be. Woe to everyone who has and is constantly abusing His mercy because your days are numbered because His Mercy is not eternal. It just hurt that most Christians would discover this too late; don’t be one of them. Before you clothe yourself with “give thanks to the lord for he is good and his mercies endures forever.”

Why don’t you ask this question: if his mercy is eternal, why would he have to judge the world at world end when the mercy can protect everyone since he died for everyone? If His mercy is eternal, there would be no need for sinners to repent. God’s Mercy Is Not Eternal and eternal life is conditional as you can lose it the same way you gained it. But, whatever happened to “whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life?” How about “depart from me you workers of iniquity, I never knew you?” Selah… The bible in Mathew 7:22 say “many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?

To all who wants to enjoy life to the extreme before coming to surrender the spoilt before God; His mercy is not eternal. He would throw it back at your face just as he did Cain because he is not begging. To all who has been pressured on all side to swerve a little from Christianity and return back to him because ‘He is a loving father’ God’s Mercy Is Not Eternal!!! When the Israelites swerved from God, not all of them were lucky to be pardoned because some died.

All Christians live in a ‘Theonomous culture.’ A culture governed by God; subject to God’s authority. Where everyone holds the same morals and all laws are self- evident and ingrained in the heart so don’t get rebellious because God’s Mercy Is Not Eternal!!!

Baptism unto Death (Legend of the Seeker)

Every Christian must come into this understanding that they moment the gave their life to Christ, they entered into a covenant of reconciliation which was the ministry of Jesus on earth. We believing in him automatically means we come to terms to the fact that we don't have a life anymore (Rom 6:23). We live the life of Christ (2 Cor 5:14-17). If you've seen the movie 'Legend of the seeker' they tried to portray this. The mord-sith having the breath of life, the sisters of the light and dark able to summon spirits into a dead body, the confessor being able to compel people to do her will until her death; but a touch of the confessor on the mordsith would bring about her death because the mordsith we're evil, the seeker fighting for truth and justice under the rule of evil and tyranny.
If you are killed and another spirit is summoned into your body, everyone that knew you would still see your face and the new spirit could decide to adjust to you former life or make the people who know you see that you have changed and it is not you anymore but someone else. He may not say it literally but his attitude towards your friends and relative would change (Phil 1:21). This is what should happen to us the moment we became Christians but because the body has a soul within, it fights the spirit strongly and so the first war the spirit must conquer is the soul, followed by family and friends (especially those that are not working according to the will of God), then the nation.
Still using 'legend of the seeker' to illustrate baptism into death, our soul is given the breath of life the moment the spirit steps into our body. We then become a seeker who would have to fight evil as we grow in Christ and as we are gradually putting our body under subjection (Eph 6:11-20). At this stage we would be tortured by mordsith because the body is not in fully subjection to the spirit. The moment we walk the path of holiness and become a confessor, a touch from us kills the mordsith (2 Cor 2:16).

The Elders May Sometimes Be Wrong!!!

Hmm, the quote that says "elders are always right"
Can be annoying especially when you are right
or if you didn't do anything wrong
It has a way of protecting their ego
And never make them admit their fault

There is a saying which goes thus
"To achieve great things, you need to take risks"
But there is never the opportunity for the risk

If you create such opportunity and take the risk,
You are either scolded, punished or shut down
And that's how they kill the upcoming generation's dream
Yet they expect us to make a difference

Life is full of competitions that starts from your home
When your words are only counted important
When you have a good grade or the best in school
But how does that affect taking life decisions?

School doesn't teach you what you need; It only shows you the way
You are only killing the person's esteem; If you shut him/her down
And the child will never know the worth of what he/she carries

Transferred aggressions doesn't change the future
Or make you feel better, it only makes things worse
You yourself wouldn't have peace of mind
It only makes you feel like you've satisfied your conscience
But for a short while and only impose fear

Fear only kills relationship and not build it
Fear kills communication and progress
Fear kills self -esteem and courage

No child is born perfect
neither is there any child without flaws
Each child has it strength and weaknesses

The parent's job is to bring a balance
And not rob the weakness to the child's face
Like he Is the one that created himself

Don't fill our minds with you create your future
Because a future made without Christ is void
It is a void achievement that amounts to nothing
Not even happiness, because humans are never satisfied

Children this shouldn't make you rebellious
Because you will only worsen the case
And will end up in a lifetime of regret

See this as a training and be disciplined
Endure the hardship and persevere
Remember you are in a bus

whom the father is a driver and the mother, a conductor
You have a bus- stop to drop so while you are in;
Observe the flaws and go back to your sketch boards
And see how you can make your bus better and more preferred
This is the only way we can do better than them in life
And be more successful in the nearest future to come

Independence Day

Tonight, I come with a vision A solution to our nation's destruction I'm here to create a revolution Saying "enough of all the complaint without result" But to urge our fathers who have endured much To endure yet a little more For the emergence of the New Generation of Leaders Leaders who are taught the rudiments of service To be faithful, loyal and honest;with integrity as our breastplate To serve Nigeria not out of compulsion nor necessity But from a Heart of selflessness and Purity A Leader whose good deeds have been from childhood And not in momentum towards election A Leader who is not shady but chooses to be naked before our eyes A Leader who can withstand the pressure of filthy heads and subordinates A Leader whose actions would speak louder than his words For the great Napoleon Hill said "Great achievement is born of great sacrifice, And Is never the result of selfishness. " So we seek for a resurrection Taking that bold step to die daily to corruption For such dreams wouldn't be achieved at once But by taking the first step towards greatness Because a man who wants to uproot a mountain Must start by removing the little rocks around it We must be ready to be patriotic unto death Enough blood has been shed for the cleansing of the land The likes of MKO Abiola, Muritala Muhammed etc.. Yet their sacrifices have been laid to waste But it is never too late to begin the race So I say to you, welcome to the new era An era of change and cleansing A change that starts from today A change that starts from you For you are the change Nigeria awaits. Happy Independence Day!!!

The Script Writer

I am the script writer; I am the only script writer In fact I am the sovereign script writer And this world is my scene All I have ever done even before creation began Is to create how I want the movie to be And just as the three main people behind the scene Are the Script writer, Director and the Producer So are we the Storyboard!!! A scriptwriter is futuristic And knows the end from the beginning So every plan he makes is to an expected end An end in which no one knows how it would happen A director leads the actors in the way he wants it to be But it has to be portrayed in line with the script So this shows that the script is ultimatum A producer is the creator of resources He looks through the script to see the materials Needed and at the time when need He is sensitive to make sure it is produced as presumed Yet all three are one in decision So is the trinity of God in Heaven Where we have the Father as the script writer Son as the director, and Spirit as the producer

The actors are the created and the bible is the Compilation of the script and also the about the script Yet we don't know the timing neither do we know it arrangement The funny thing is that we are both the actors and the viewers Let me break that down; God created the world And placed man in the garden But the devil that doesn't know the genesis of the script Thought he could utter it by turning the actors against the creator Thereby breaking the away actor away the script But the director use it as an opportunity to step in To shift their view to an expected end Making reference to the Script writer and the producer And then Stepping aside for the producer to attach the need resources The critics e (who are also the people) were confused As the y saw the actors talk about the movie But be not deceived for the movie is still in progress For at the end of every movie The Storyboard are always revealed That is what we call the second coming of Christ The movie and message is dynamic yet singular According to how it relates to your life If it is an action film; then God (in trinity) Is the one that is being opposed by the tyrant And it seems like the tyrant always wins soldiers But it is all part of the actor's strategy to win him And just as you know, there are always spoils of war And it is the weak on both sides that suffers it effect But God always strengthens His soldiers The bible however is that strength It is the script written in secret yet in plain sight But can only be understood by the code He gave his army That they shall pattern themselves in line with the script As always, the victor always gives judgment to the defeated Thereby giving immortal suffering to the tyrant and his allies But those that were unjustly punished shall be delivered But shall also have a choice of whose side they want to be!!! The movie is like a love story between Christ and the church Whose relationship is like the prophet and the prostitute Whose relationship is like that of the Israelites and God They intentionally run into trouble because they know He would come for them always Funny enough that is how most of the modern relationship Is like today, the ladies knows the genuine guys but keeps Running into the hands of the bad guy Just to watch him keep running after us and know The depth of his love for us The truth is that everyone's endurance has a limit And at the same time the more we chase you The more we both start getting tired and easily get bored But if we come ourselves after realizing what He has done We would be truly submissive and have a loving marriage This poem tries to explain the trinity, eternity, the second coming of Christ and love of Christ toward us and above all how we are puppets and scripts used and written by the Creator. For on that final day there would be two kinds of people; those who say thy will be done and those to whom God say thy will be done. (C.S Lewis )

WHY ME?!!!

Why me lord, why me? I’m the filthiest human you will ever see Yet you chose me, why? You needed a love story I gave you a lust series Yet you pressed forward; why? You wanted a masterpiece to be proud of I gave you an error to be ashamed of But you weren’t bothered: why? You made a jar made of gold looking so beautiful I’m dazed at your love towards me Told you to get lost, but you came close

The question isn’t “Why me Lord, why me?” In fact the question is why it shouldn’t be me Since you decided to keep chasing And I got into the jail of sin thinking you will stop Not knowing that I was trapping myself You came melting down the bars Just to set me free and become the sin That you may conquer it and bring it to subjection I stood there smiling, wondering why you would Trade your robe for dirt; stooping so low And you would one day ascend so high Now I can boldly stand before the king In a place filled with glory and honour This is one place that amazes me daily I offered to be a slave that I may continually see But he said you are a son but a child that needs to be trained So he sent me to serve that I may one day see As the son seats at the right hand of the father After facing this persecutions with joy and patience I’m tired of asking why me cause I have the answer He is Love and that’s why I ponder At the courage given to me to be able to say Why not me? For I am now born of Love
